As a group, we looked through a series of trailers to find out how many shots it is best to use in our trailer. We watched sixteen trailers but decided to only include fourteen of them in our median and rejected two trailers because they had the least amount of shots.

Here are the trailers that we decided to reject:
|
Annabelle 2
We decided to reject this trailer because it is near enough one continuous shot throughout. As a group, we decided this wasn't the best trailer to use to figure out how many shots we needed, to produce a more professional trailer. We thought this wasn't the best way to film a trailer for us because of the minimal amount of shots and the special effects used would be too difficult for us to re-create. |
Omen
We decided to reject this trailer because it is one continuous shot. Although this trailer creates tension with the slow shot, it is not the best style of trailer to take inspiration from because it wouldn't show our skills when editing. |
